About Me
I started my artsy journey as a new mom in 1998. I was introduced to scrapbooking, and fell in love (the old Creative Memories way...). I had never been very artsy before, and it was quite fun. I scrapped and cropped for many years, but then we moved, I worked full-time, etc., etc., and fell out of doing much but a couple mini-albums.
But another move later, kids getting older and more independent, and my mom passing away, gave me some time I wasn't expecting. I got out my 'now fairly old' scrapbooking supplies and started taking some online classes. I fell in love with using mixed media on my pages, and it has grown to a whole lot of art supplies in my 'hobby corner' of the house!
I have been married for 23 years to my high school sweetheart. I have a son and daughter both in high school. Also inhabiting our house are two fun cats, and a very friendly goldfish.
I have a master's degree in speech-language pathology, specializing in children, and working with kiddos on the autism spectrum.
